Implementation of Ministry of Justice Credit Check of Fines initiative
From 1 May 2012 if you have unpaid fines with the Ministry of Justice this information will be available to your Credit Provider. Furthermore the Credit Provider under "Super Priority" will potentially lose security over goods financed where unpaid fines exist at origination of a loan. This will impact on those individuals ability to obtain credit.
