Mervyn Oldham, Chief Executive (Chairman)

Mervyn is a founding director and shareholder. Mervyn's experience includes 13 years with a publicly listed company specialising in financial services. During this time he held senior management positions as Accountant, Company Secretary, Manager of Commercial Developments, Regional Finance Manager, and Marketing Manager.

Mervyn’s drive and ambition have been instrumental in the growth and performance of FHL from its inception through to the present day.

Simon Oldham, Executive Director, BE PhD

In 1996 after returning to New Zealand he began a successful career in finance where he  joined FHL. Simon undertakes some of the debt collection activities for the FHL.

Kane Oldham, Chief Financial Officer, BCom BSc CA

Kane has a background in financial accounting and audit. Also attaining a BSc (Computer Science) from the University of Auckland. Prior to joining FHL he spent four years in business services, and audit for Grant Thornton.

Leaving for London in 1998, Kane spent a number of years working for Tomkins Plc. Tomkins was a diversified conglomerate listed on the FTSE 100. Annual  turnover at the time was £6 billion. Subsidiaries were based predominantly in United States, United Kingdom and Europe. Kane was a Finance Director reporting directly to the CFO for the parent company. In addition he became a Treasury Director. This involved liaising direct with offices in Jersey, Luxembourg, Amsterdam and Dublin as well as working in a small team that specialised in hedging, as well as other FX  instruments. 

In addition Kane was involved in numerous company acquisitions, and disposals and major cap ex expenditure. Prior to his departure he also was involved in a demerger. Kane brings a great deal of experience to FHL.
